New York Malamute Rescue is a group of volunteers who love Alaskan Malamutes! Our goal is to find permanent, loving homes for Alaskan Malamutes in New York and New Jersey who are in danger of being killed. If you know of a Malamute at a shelter or a Malamute who is currently owned but who needs a new home, please email us at NewYorkMalRescue@gmail.com. At this time we are helping only Alaskan Malamutes in New York and New Jersey. interested in adopting an
Alaskan Malamute, please email NewYorkMalRescue@gmail.com. We will be
happy to send you our application and explain how our adoption
procedure works. We do not accept adoption applications from anywhere
but New York and New Jersey. If you don’t live in these two states, to

We
help Alaskan Malamutes of any age, from pups to
seniors. We do not
have our own facility. The Malamutes we list are either still living
with their owners (but need a new home), are in a shelter, or are in
foster care. Although we make every effort to keep our list of
available dogs current, you should know that any dog in a shelter is
likely to be killed when the shelter runs out of space. We may not be
told when that dog is killed, so our list of available dogs may not be

We
accept only 100% Alaskan
Malamutes. We’re not
trying to be snobby; that is the breed we know, love and
work with. If you want a Malamute, please be sure to drop us a line!
