Not all dogs that are available at Polaris Alaskan Malamute Rescue are pictured here. Also, some of the dogs listed here may have already been adopted. We try to update our listings weekly. Please call us for the most up to date list of available Malamutes. All of the dogs are up to date on all shots, and neutered or spayed.

Sierra Sierra is a 6 yr. old spayed alpha female (about 100 lbs.) who fears no one & nothing. She enjoys people and likes attention. She can be territorial of her dog space and is dominant with other dogs - even in neutral locations. She is affectionate with people but is not always good with other dogs. She sings when sirens go off. She's sensitive to having her fur pulled - using a muzzle is suggested at the vet or groomer. She respects her owner as the boss. Tico Tico is a 3 yr. old neutered male (possible mix) who is good with people and females, but not very tolerant of male dogs. He is friendly and playful with humans and is looking for a good home - he was a stray. He's current on shots and is in good health. He has been crated and will need someone to teach him basic commands and leash walking. Won't you open your home to this affectionate guy?! Tico is looking for his forever home.
