Coordinating the care and adoption of the malamutes Polaris helps requires an extraordinary amount of time and resources. We rely on our volunteers and donors to keep us running and give us the ability to help so many dogs. Our biggest expenses are: dog food (ave. cost is $30/bag), veterninary costs (runs from $20 - 500 each, typically $50 range) and dog supplies (runs from $10 - 250 -for a shelter-, typically $25 range) .

Polaris is a not-for-profit organization that depends on donations to help care for and feed the malamutes that we take in. We are very appreciative of any and all contributions that will support us in our efforts to help animals in need!
