Show Chair John Dewing and Assistant Chair Sharon Weston are busy putting together this event, planned to be held at the Linn County Expo Center. We\u2019ll include details and the schedule in the next newsletter as they are released.<\/p>\n<p>AMAL participates in several annual events: pre-sales of our AMAL wines, week long fundraising at the AMAL table, a demonstration for the Online Pedigree Database, honoring our AMAL Affiliate Rescue Showcase participants, and presenting some terrific auction items for the AMCA Auction. Thanks to all who make these successful AMAL events!<\/p>\n<p><b>We will need donations for AMAL\u2019s annual fundraising at this event!<\/b> Best selling items in the past have included limited edition prints, malamute-related items, Alaskan crafts, dog sleds, Hawaiian shirts with malamutes, soapstone handcrafts, grooming boxes, clothing items, and gift baskets. Start identifying treasures you may be willing to part with for this year\u2019s show! Join us for a week of activities while soaking up the beautiful fall foliage at this beautiful time of year! Save the dates at the beautiful <a href=\"https:\/\/eisenhower.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eisenhower Hotel & Conference Center<\/a>. The Rescue Showcase will also be hosted by AMAL on Friday, October 15th to honor the efforts of the regional affiliates\u2019 adopters and to highlight advancements the dogs have made since finding their forever homes.
